Six Million Steps

Walk in memory of the Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust and stand up against anti-Semitism.

Join us as we gather as a community and walk in solidarity to the Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza to honor the courage, bravery and strength of those who survived and remember the 6 million lost.

In partnership with the Israeli American Council (IAC), the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and the Israeli Scouts, we will hold a commemorative ceremony followed by a meaningful walk down the Parkway to the Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza.

The Philadelphia community-wide Yizkor service will take place at the end of the walk.
This event is open to everyone, young and old.

12:30 PM – Ceremony led by the Scouts
1:00 PM – Begin the walk to the Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza
1:30 PM – Yizkor Ceremony begins, led by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia
