In her new book, Lilly explores the history of the Kindertransport through the lens of Arthur Kern. 65 years after Arthur is sent away on the Kindertransport, he revisits his childhood home in Vienna and meets 11 year old Lilly. Their friendship blossoms into an incredibly impactful relationship that Lilly reflects upon in her book.
