Holocaust Education Girl Scout Patch

3G Philly is proud to partner with the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh in bringing the Holocaust Education Girl Scout Patch Program to Girl Scout troops in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Created as a Girl Scout Gold Award project, this program introduces Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts to Holocaust history through guided learning, reflection, and activities that encourage empathy, courage, and civic responsibility. Participants also learn about the remarkable role of Girl Guides during the Holocaust and the choices ordinary people made in extraordinary circumstances. 

As a partner organization, 3G Philly can help local troops:

• Connect with Holocaust survivor descendants for presentations and discussion.

• Coordinate speakers to support the curriculum.

• Provide local educational resources.

• Help troops connect with the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh to complete the program requirements.
