Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial Ceremony

Annual Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial Ceremony: Memory and Responsibility — Building a Future Together

In observance of Yom HaShoah, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, its Jewish Community Relations Council and the Center to Combat Antisemitism invite the community to gather in remembrance of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and in honor of the survivors who continue to bear witness.

Now in its 62nd year, the Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial Ceremony reflects a longstanding community commitment to remembrance, education and responsibility — l’dor v’dor, from generation to generation — and to ensuring that the lessons of the Holocaust are never forgotten.

The ceremony will include candle lighting, music and prayers.

Date: Sunday, April 12
Time: 2:00–3:00 PM

Location:
Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza
16th Street at Benjamin Franklin Parkway
