March of Remembrance

The Esther Raab Holocaust Museum & Goodwin Education Center’s 10th Annual March of Remembrance is taking place on Sunday October 2nd. It is a day to honor and remember all of the Survivors in the Cherry Hill community while we jointly say, hate Is not welcome in our community. As part of the morning activities, children and their families are invited to join for a stone painting activity. In Jewish tradition, stones are placed on gravestones to honor the deceased. By painting stones to place on the Katz Holocaust Memorial in front of the JCC building at the end of the March, we remember the victims of the Holocaust, while also honoring the creative and vibrant, multi-generational Jewish community that continues to thrive in South Jersey today. Activities are geared for children 4-11.

Please arrive promptly at 9am at Weinberg Commons 1721 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill for painting instruction led by teaching artist Liliana Ines Friesel Elkouss. The walk begins at 9:30am.
